“Resonations in Clay – Life on the Bosque”
by Kim Louise Glidden
The City of Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Department and Open Space Visitor Center has approved NMPCA’s proposal for a 2018 three-month juried exhibit to be held in its beautiful gallery located at 6500 Coors Blvd NW. All ceramic artists working in New Mexico will be eligible for consideration. In addition to an opening reception, there will be demonstrations by selected artists and a hands-on activity for the public creating a trail marker art sculpture. Plenty of time before the Call for Entries to start thinking and making functional and sculptural works interpreting the Bosque’s changing four seasons and nature’s cycle of life on the river: bird migrations, agriculture, from seed to harvest, and farm to table!
